টপিকঃ বাংলাদেশের দক্ষিনাঞ্চল কি সম্পূর্ন পানিতে তলিয়ে যাবে?
টিভিতে আজ দেখালো দেশের নিম্নাঞ্চল পানিতে ডুবে আছে আজ কয়েকদিন। মনে প্রশ্ন আসলো সামান্য বৃষ্টিতে যদি এভাবে বন্যা পরিস্থিতি তৈ্রি হয় তবে আগামীদিনে সমুদ্রের উচ্চতা যদি কয়েক সেন্টিমিটারও বাড়ে তবে তো বাংলাদেশের দক্ষিনাঞ্চল সম্পূর্ন সমুদ্রে ডুবে যাবে তালপট্টি দ্বীপের মতো। বিবিসিতে দেখালো আগামী ৫০ বছরের মধ্যে বাংলাদেশের আংশিক ও মালদ্বীপ সম্পূর্ন ডুবে যাবে সমুদ্রে। 
কি ভয়াবহ কথা। জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের কারনে কত লাখ লাখ মানুষ রিফিউজি হবে সেটা ভাবতেই খারাপ লাগে।
ভারতের বিএসএফ তাদের দেশে বাংলাদেশিদের যেতে দেয় না। ৩ হাজার কি.মি. কাঁটাতারের বেড়া দিয়ে রেখেছে। সীমান্তে হত্যাকান্ড চলছে। এই গতকাল বেনাপোল সীমান্তে এক বাংলাদেশি মারা গেলো।
বাংলাদেশ যদি আংশিক ডুবে যায় তবে এটা কি আমাদের দোষ নাকি পশ্চিমা বিশ্বের? তাদের জন্য বাংলাদেশিরা কেনো সাফার করবে? কই যাবে দেশের মানুষ?

Driven from their homes by poverty and climate change, Bangladeshis are heading to India, but are being blocked by a 3,000-km fence.
Azaduzzaman, who also goes by one name, says they charge about 2,000 Bangladeshi taka, or $25, and help people get fake IDs and jobs in India. He hears stories from his sister about a better life in India: a steady job, enough food.
Rahman, and others, believe Bangladeshi migrants should be allowed to move not just to India, but to the West.
“The countries which have played a role in triggering climate change, and thus displacing them, should have to take them in,” says the executive director of the Bangladesh Centre for Advanced Studies.
“Bangladeshis should have the right to migrate to other countries,” he reiterates.
